Join the Lincoln Public Library for a Virtual Author Visit with Simon Winchester, the acclaimed journalist, adventurer and New York Times bestselling author. As a journalist he has covered numerous significant events, and is the award-winning author of several popular history books, such as "The Professor and the Madman: A Tale of Murder, Insanity, and the Making of the Oxford English Dictionary," "A Crack in the Edge of the World: America and the Great California Earthquake of 1906," and "Land: How the Hunger for Ownership Shaped the Modern World." Simon Winchester and Library Director Kathryn Hunt will have a conversation about his works, followed by a Q&A session with attendees.
