Today is the last day to sign up for free trees! 

We are celebrating Earth this spring by participating in the annual Neighborhood Forest free tree program again, whose aim is to provide free trees to kids every Earth Day! Since 2010, Neighborhood Forest has reached over 100,000 families and planted over 50,000 (mostly urban and residential) trees through the hands of children and parents across North America. We are excited to be participating in this wonderful program that teaches kids stewardship through the magic and wonder of planting and watching trees grow. 

Parents or guardians can fill out the following online registration form by Saturday, March 15 and you'll receive a free tree sapling (6"-12" in size) during Earth Week (April 16-22).

Trees will be delivered to the Lincoln Public Library where you can pick them up and place them in the hands of your children on or around Earth Day (April 22). Neighborhood Forest will follow up with additional instructions on planting, and you will receive an email from the library when can pick up your trees. Planting instructions and species information will be emailed a few days prior to the trees arriving.
