We are fortunate to host this Newberry Award-Winning author Meg Medina whose work examines how cultures intersect through the eyes of young people. Her young adult novel, Burn Baby Burn, about a teen growing up in 1977 during the rampage of a serial killer. It was long listed for the 2016 National Book Award and was a finalist for the LA Times Book Prize.

Her children's book, Evelyn del Rey is Moving Away, was the picture book chosen for Read Across Lincoln!
