Join us for a special day of Library Joy. We're partnering with Live Beyond and Mychal Threets to celebrate Library Joy  and help connect our community with essential mental health resources. Join us to decorate a flower pot, create your own succulent garden (while supplies last), make a tea packet to take home, meet Mychal - PBS's resident librarian, and more!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we're excited to be sharing resources from the Live Beyond campaigns of the Office of the California Surgeon General. These resources are designed to raise awareness around Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress, and what actions we can take to take care of our mental health. 

Schedule:

1 PM: Flower pot decorating, succulent garden making, and tea packet stations

2 PM: Book raffle with Live Beyond

2:30 PM: Mychal speaks, with photo opportunity after!

This special event will be a part of California's Live Beyond initiative celebrating Mental Health Awareness for young people!
